I came 2nd in my group and won both my playoff games so I'm back to the premiership this season. Got absolutely dicked last time a couple of seasons ago but my team is better now.. still going to get dicked but I might win a game this time. Maybe.

Yes a couple of good wins sees you in the premiership.Yes you got a hiding last time but hope for better. Maybe 14th will see you stay up.

Did you find last time you took a hit financially in the premiership? After all, it's pretty hard to get those end of year bonuses when newly promoted.

Yeah it did cost me quite a bit of money last time and to be honest I considered throwing the playoff game in order to save more, so I could have a proper crack at it in a few years. But then I thought what's the point of playing the game if I'm not playing to win? So up I go...

Considering what happened last time I don't blame you for being a little shy but your teams in much better shape this time.

Dropping games I'm sure is something that happens. Can't blame people. I've done it once, with my Cameroon side where there is a huge difference between premier and league two and just because I could play with the second division was no prep for premier and went straight back down costing about $50m. Bit hard to swallow when ones trying to pay for a very expensive YA that brings only rubbish players ;)

Think there should be a promo bonus to reward people

Yeah I don't blame people for throwing playoff games when you see how getting promoted actually costs you money. I guess for me I just want to try and play the game as close to as if it was real life, in which case I would have my team playing to win every game.

And I agree about the promo bonus. It's stupid that getting promoted issue a negative thing financially. You might get more fans but unless you're super confident that you will stay up it might not be worth spending the money on your stadium to capitalise on it.

My YA and TF are both 8* which is affordable and a bit of a bet hedging exercise. I did see someone did a chart of the long term probability of 4.5/5* players at each YA level and the extra cost of a 10 * YA didn't seem worth it to me .
