There are of course negetives (not playing in front of the fever etc) but have thought there are actually many positives that if nurtured can actually benefit our team:
1: A siege mentality can be developed. We are here as a group in this country with one aim. I am sure many coaches would love to have their squad togther day by day to devlop that mentality. Basically we are on tour. We are here for one purpose.
2: No hopping on planes wasting two days a week for away games doing international travel
3: All due respect to wellington but many wifes have hated the place. The place they are at is nice, no eathquakes, with nice weather and nice beaches
4: Our ausi players which make up a good proporation of our squad are at home. They are probably happier then being in Wellington.
5: Our single kiwi players should thrive.
If the warriors can have a moderate season in a more challenging environment, then i think these guys could have a very good season if managed and nurtured right and I think Ukak is the man to do it.
He also probbaly doesnt mind the location
