NLWG (the clubs) have a number of ideas to try increase overall revenue in the A League. Was one of their main gripes with FFA that they weren't running the League well, and maximising it's income potential. Plus FFA siphoning off a large chunk of the Fox Sports TV rights deal, to spend on Socceroos and other national teams.
But Nix taking 2 games to Auckland over say a normal 12-14 game home season, isn't really a big deal. Be interesting to see what a pure winter A League in 2022 (if it happens) does to average attendance at the ROF. You would expect a further drop off in crowds unfortunately.
