Is it actually that difficult?
No.
Its quite simple really: Gold pass gives you halfway views, Silver pass gives you a view from everywhere else. A 6 game flexi pass is exactly that. And the membership is something else (access to some special Facebook page, priority booking for finals tickets, end of season awards... ??).
I just go to ticketek, buy a silver, and sit anywhere. Simple.
