The 2 aren't really mutually exclusive are they? We aren't getting the EPL teams over here to the detriment of the squad, if anything it (very loosely) helps. 

It would've been very interesting to see where we ended up if we didn't get killed by injuries. We were talking about being one of the top teams in the comp until that happened. If that isn't a step in the right direction after last season I don't quite know what is? 

And just to take an earlier point, We were never realistically going to pick up an ifill on a 6 month injury replacement so to say the fact we didn't do so shows a lack of ambition is pretty unfair. I thought Krishna was actually one of our better players toward the end of the season, and if he isn't an import next season he is a great pick up and shows the style of football we will be looking to play going forward.
