Presuming that we get the youth +3 spots and some kind of reserve team who could we sign of Aussies and kiwis who could be an extra striker? The +3 don't count towards salary cap correct? So we could free up somewhere between 120-150k? Is there anyone good we can get on those dollars? Anyone off contract from other clubs?
It'll free up some salary cap but we still have to have 3 youth players in the 23 man squad. Currently we have 4 youth players (Fenton, Boyd, Ridenton & Rufer) so the +3 spots would have to be 2 youth players, leaving room for 1 extra senior player.
Another thing to be asked is are Welnix keen to fork out the extra wages for the 3 youth spots? Because I don't think FFA would cover them.
