So much this. I wonder how well Krishna would have to play before he did deserve it? There's this kind of mythical idea about imports that they'll all give Ifill or Berisha levels of impact but realistically a lot of A League imports have either been flops or no better than locals.
Probably isn't helped by our history of mediocre imports... I still believe imports should be on a level that you cannot find domestically, otherwise whats the point? But quality imports often comes down to money, which Welnix don't want to spend too much of.
As long as Krishna holds onto his form I dont think most people will have a problem with him taking a up spot.
