More importantly, if Singh ain't going to Tokyo, must indicate that him and Bayern have plans not involving the Nix for the last year of his contract. 

So back to Europe? Hopefully he goes there in a good happy headspace. As 2 trips back to NZ with total 4 weeks yucky hotel MIQ in the last 6 months, looks like someone who has had some family issues/homesickness on top of an unhappy time at Nuremberg, in Covid afflicted Europe.
