If we are not able to bring import players to NZ, can't we have them quarantine in Aus and then just wait for us????

MIQ situation in Australia is currently very similar to NZ, difficult to find a spot. Worse maybe with many travellers going interstate having to do MIQ. When Hemed & Davila flew into Australia a year ago from overseas, the interstate borders (pre Delta) were more open than they are now.

Various state borders open up later this year, plus TT bubble restarts and alot of MIQ spaces will free up. ACT will tick over 90% of the above age 16 popn with one jab tomorrow, NSW same stat early next week.
