As a non-Phoenix fan, Taylor comes across as a bit of a sharkbag.

If the captain from my team left to follow the $, came back when it all went south, was handed the armband but then had a strop cause he (at 35) justifiably wasn't given a two-year contract, then I'd happily wave him off.

Sounds like the Phoenix did all they could, but they couldn't match his own inflated self-opinion of himself.

Although I can't see it happening, wonder if the hierarchy are thinking about going back on their no-to-Reid stance?
