A lot of respect lost for Taylor here. He basically twisted the club's arm into letting him break contract and leave twice, disregarded the club's promise of a coaching pathway and then went to piss and moan to the media, telling them one thing and the club another. If this had been an amicable split I'd still be disappointed but Taylor going around bad mouthing the club for stuff he didn't even disclose to them is really poor form and ruins his legacy with us imo. Piney's Herald article was also pretty ടhit, painting Taylor like some cult hero without having spoken to the club about the situation first. I'd expect better from someone like Piney, and it's disappointing that Taylor and Jason have forced the club to release a statement to defend themselves. The last few seasons have shown more clearly than ever that our ownership group cares about this club and are willing to cover significant costs themselves to keep the Nix afloat, so to try and put them in a bad light and make out that Taylor leaving is due to poor practice from them is ടhit reporting and disrespectful to the club.
