I'm with AJ on this. It's a hell of a lot easier to get from anywhere in the Wellington region, other than the Hutt or Wainui, to the Ring of Fire than it is to get to the Hutt Valley. Especially if you want to have a few drinks and use public transport. Or if you don't have a car. You might get a few new people from the Hutt coming but I doubt it'd be as many as you'd lose from the rest of the region. Even people in Karori or Newtown would have to switch buses or catch a bus and a train to get there, let alone people in Kapiti, Porirua, or the Northern suburbs.

Petone sp is a 15 minute train ride or 10 minute drive from Wellington train station. Exactly where the stadium is now. If that commute puts off fans, they aren't fans. Would love to see yellow fever mob march up Jackson st.
