Nah I didn't get that from it, I think he's just very close to neutral overall (part of doing his job I think - he cant really commentate for both teams if hes biased against one) and he probably cares more about the good of Football in NZ than the Phoenix.

Also don't forget that on that podcast he praises the Fever and says they were a lot louder than the port
