New contract, new bling, and a new season starting as Portland host New England Revolution - last year's runaway Eastern Conference winners.

Revs were knocked of 2021 MLS playoffs by New York City, who went on to win the MLS Cup final in Portland.

Trevor Zwetsloot of course has signed for Revolution II this week.

Note that neither of Timbers first choice CBs (Župarić & Mabiala) last season, are in match day squad so not sure if they are injured or have left Portland.
