question I have is why we've only offered him a contract until the end of this season? and then why the hell would he accept it?
Do we know that we didn't offer a longer contract?
Not sure. Makes sense for us to see how he goes here before committing long-term though. Also makes sense for him to come check it out here given he was being pushed out of the club he was at.
