Sheridan was dominant in the air, could reliably hold the ball up, protect it, and get it on into good spaces for others up front - I thought he was very good at linking things together. From what I saw his own off the ball runs were incisive and dangerous and the spaces he seemed to find were great. There was just a small  problem that hardly anyone ever seemed to pass to him at those times. He only ever got late opportunities off the bench of a few minutes so his cumulative time on the pitch probably only amounted  to a couple of games. People say he wasn't productive but honestly what opportunity did he really have? I hope we can give him another season and that Talay can get more from him than Rudan did.

Rudan got players to fit how he wanted to play and was unsentimental with those who didn't fit- Tratt, Butters, Doyle. I hope we aren't going to sign players who might work and only sign players the boss likes and will be useful in his system.

Sheridan was unlucky- laid on a couple of unconverted chances, hit a couple of posts, worked hard- but has not shown the results his first game might have suggested. Goals and wins.

Cacace, Singh, Rufer and Krishna have quite a good understanding. Maybe pre-season might do this for the Sheriff? Have to see.

I want to see us do well- if Talay thinks he's part of that, fine. Otherwise also fine.
