So Reno Piscopo has been listed in this seasons off contract players (with triggers for extensions note). We might have to start playing him more often now, he is gonna be away for a few weeks in January so that won't help any appearance trigger clauses.
Thought he signed for 3 years when we got him.
Yes but no it seems, looks like its a 1+2 year deal. I'm guessing they did it this way so they didn't have to pay out players if the club folded.
What's the point of this list? Originally I thought it was so that clubs knew players coming off contract and could try secure their services asap, but agents will do that anyway. Is it just for the fans? Does this indicate that the future of the club in the HAL, still, yet to be rubber stamped?
I'm guessing its something the PFA puts out, they always get a 'look over half the league is out of contract and this is bad for development' article out of it.It probably does help the clubs tho, gives them a full list in one place than having to deal with all the agents.
