Lewis offers a known quantity and Wihongi did well when called upon and will be better for his experiences last year.

McGarry is an interesting one... glad he got the gig, but has not set the world on fire here previously or in the Netherlands. Big chance for him, assuming he can make the position his ahead of the young aussie

The reason why he never broke thru here was probably a combination of injuries and being played out of position for the WeeNix. He was one of the stand out WeeNix players back in 16/17 iirc & looked like he was physically ready to make the step up but never got the chance. He seemed to swap between midfield and the forwards for the WeeNix, which wouldn't have helped either. He was injured under DK, so never got a look in at the LB role, especially once Libby broke thru.

[Edit: Looking back at old Tweets from Piney, he had knee surgery in late 2016 & was out for 6 months. So must have been 15/16 he was staring for the WeeNix]
