Another signing that Uffie has history with. I've not seen him play, will be interesting to see how he stacks up against the other striking options.

Better than Watson?

Who knows. But he's in Australia so that's a massive plus.

Young tall strikers of an African background, doing pretty well in the A League at the moment. Hopefully a good omen.

Though really hope he's not rushed in ahead of Waine. The young Kiwi deserves at least a crack against WSW first.

One way travel with Aussie being suspended would have ruled out any NZ options, not that Talay would have considered them. Lokoli-Ngoy was training and playing games in pre-season, so was one of Talay's planned back up options.

Don't expect another Kuol, he is just a younger Athiu.
