I remember the days when we all just knew we were getting the rough deal from the referees every time. But I do not recall any of our coaches getting carried away like that and talking conspiracy in post game pressers. Sounded like psycho-Babbel.
and this year the most pens for any team. Dont think there are any sort of conspiracies against any team or rough deal from referees. Passionate supporters talking them up.
There have been instances this season where refs have made poor decisions against us that have resulted in lost points - worst is the ref not applying the rules correctly when WU player re-entered the field of play illegally and should have been a pen to us. Others like the ball not hitting Fenton's arm and a pen giving against us and the non red for the tackle on Ball against Perth. You can see our coaches reacting on the sideline to those decisions just possibly better at being composed during press conferences, whereas Babbel from Germany where being very frank is more common.
so not rough deal/consiparncy but maybe mistakes? Big difference....
Conspiracy claim suggests a wilful action while mistakes imply -at worst - incompetence, when they are not acknowledged / noted. When criticising mistakes you will leave the other side some room to answer / engage. A conspiracy claim will make all your allies run for cover.
