Don't know - is the Romanian first division considered 'average'? Agree that outside of the top 3, Portugal has little to offer though.

Romanian 1st division's actually pretty decent, some big recognisable teams like Steaua and Dinamo Bucharest. About as good as the A-League. Sepsi's one of the worst teams, second bottom right now.

Doesn't help that Romania's a horrible place to play if you want stability, clubs are going bankrupt left right and centre every season. If in the top two divisions there's a season where no club gets dissolved, consider yourself lucky

Romanian 1st division's actually a lot like the Portuguese one - outside of the big few clubs like Steaua and Dinamo Bucharest everyone else is just fighting to not get relegated. Unfortunately Sepsi are second bottom.
