He's a foundational player, one of the first players they signed, and was key to building a club culture and identity.

He's played 2/3rds of their seasons. 

In a team that young legend status might be easier to come by, but it still exist.

And, for comparison, a lot of people would consider Nathan Burns a Phoenix legend, despite him only being with us for two seasons and only being in form  for one of them.
