To continue off topic, I was working in the Osaka (Japan) office of my employer in April 2016 when the Kumamoto earthquake (7.0 Richter) in Kyushu struck.   It was a decent 700 km away, but the 11 floor office tower, where we were in Osaka CBD, swayed gently but firmly from side to side like a treetop. My Japanese colleagues looked at me in bemusement as I threw myself to the floor and crawled under a desk that was way too small for me.
