Actually, the De Silva yellow being in time added on in that match (90+3) makes it really feel like it's him. Be good to see the footage of that card...

Had a look, De Silva hauls down the ball carrier from behind out near the sideline. There are a lot of other Mac players close by when he commits the foul and they are leading 2-0 with a minute to go. Who knows, could just as easily be one of those little brain explosions from an amped up player as anything sinister.

The Baccus foul does look kind of ridiculous. Nadal gets the ball in his own half with not a single Sydney player in front or even near him, three Mac defenders sitting deep plus the keeper and Baccus practically leaps onto his back two handed to bring him down. No way was it a dangerous situation. Incredibly stupid foul.

Lewis gets dispossessed and goes to ground thinking he was fouled but doesn't get the whistle. Chases back and throws a forearm into the player who he thought fouled him. Looks to me like the classic frustrated reaction of an aggrieved player getting his own back with a petty foul.
