So what are we thinking? Either:
a) the Nix got tricked in negotiations;
b) the Nix deliberately allowed this to happen so that their own fans would get upset and "add spice to the derby"

c) We knew it was a possibility this could happen, but accepted a very good transfer fee for a young player which benefited both us and APs career.
Anything else is disrespectful to the club, and to AP.
This loan deal doesn’t mean it was a mistake to sell AP to Bournemouth in the first place - blocking AP from having a chance to move to a PL club/play in the PL one day just because of the AFC link would have been stupid.
Yes, C it is 100%. The Nix knew this could somehow possibly happen.
In everything I heard today from all parties it looks like AP is quite happy to don the AFC kit next season, saying he's looking forward to playing in front of friends and family.
Domey comes across as being resigned to the fact it's gone through, even talked about how great it is for the rivalry. He doesn't seem to be too bothered at all.
How I stand on this: At least we got some decent money. Nix will be looking into the future and move on.
Alex Paulsen only looks after his own interests with no hint of loyalty or respect to his former club and fans - guess you get those types.
Auckland FC have made a real statement with this. This was all pre-meditated a long time ago and they knew it would cause a stir - No love lost, the gloves have come off already, we're enemies. Game on, I say! A bitter rivalry was born today.
