Oh for sure. The only thing is looking at his career his time at the Nix (22 goals in 40 games) is very much an outlier. He's never been remotely close to those stats anywhere else.

In Holland a brutal assessment would be he's reverted to type, not doing much. Yes early days, and his team is sharke but can see why he is not on the Polish radar much at all. He'll be 29 next February.

Piątek has 6 goals in Turkey already this season, and got 17 last season. He's played Serie A and Bundesliga. Świderski has been a consistent goal scorer in the MLS since 2022 with Charlotte. 29 goals in 75 games. Had a loan deal with Hellas Verona in Serie A amongst that. Buksa 16 goals in the Turkish Superliga last season before joining Midtjylland. Consistent goal scorer with New England in the MLS before Turkey.

These 3 guys (27-29) are similar in age to Zawada. Hoping to fill Lewandowski's big shoes, but just with far better club careers than Oskar. No doubt a few others out there as well on the fringes.

Zawada's return to Europe, was about money, rather than any serious national team ambitions.
