At face value it looks all about him being overlooked because, he just ain't good enough. Poland have called up these forwards for the November window

27 yr old Karol Świderski  37 caps  11 goals, is with Charlotte FC in the MLS (7 goals in 13 games)
29 yr old Krzysztof Piątek 32 caps  12 goals, is with İstanbul Başakşehir in Turkish Superliga (6 goals in 11 games this season)
28 yr old Adam Buksa 18 caps 7 goals, is with Midtjylland in Denmark (4 goals in 8 games this season)

In the last 12 months they have also selected
36 yr old Lewandowski at Barca 156 caps 84 goals
30 yr old Arkadiusz Milik at Juve  73 caps  17  goals
23 yr old uncapped Adrian Benedyczak at Parma


28 yr old Zawada would need to be really banging them in, in the Eredivisie to give himself any chance of a callup. He's still yet to score in the Dutch top flight this season, and unfortunately for him RKC Waalwijk (last, only 4 pts in 12 games) look pretty sharke.
