Surely he's taking the piss. The Socceroos just keep beating the AWs whilst barely raising a sweat, and NZ hardly threatening to score.

Admittedly that wasn't true in Canberra, where we were very unlucky to lose amd dominant in the first half. However Poppa made some smart changes, and it was normal service in Auckland.

They are simply just better than us. That's the brutal truth of it. This AWs generation is will peak closer to the 2030 WC than 2026.

Ryan, Arzani and Duke are strong additions. Alex Robertson a good pickup for them as well. Looks like Poppa has rotated the young ex ALM trio of Botic (Austria Vienna), Milanovic (Aberdeen) and Segecic (Portsmouth) out, to focus on their club stuff.
