I was really happy with this. Not a lot going forward - Singh is better central and Rogerson is better wide but it was a makeshift team and that happens.

Italiano did a good job. Distribution was strong, has a foot like an absolute cannon. I remember one corner he came for and didn't get to but no issues apart from that.

Doyle and Wood put their hand up to compete for minutes with Fox and Lowry as backup CB, although Doyle probably still starts at LB. Thought Parkhouse was the most defensively sound I've seen him. Galloway did everything right, looks like a solid replacement for Tratt.

If Paracki maintains that standard all season I'll be very happy, broke up play well, looked strong on the ball and some great distribution. Expecting him to kick on and improve as he settles in as well. Rufer showed both his ability and his attitude. Certainly an A-League standard player but he rubbed WSW the wrong way and got the shark kicked out of him. He seems to rub a lot of people the wrong way. McGlinchey solid, not outstanding. Will be a key piece for us.

Singh was quite clearly out of position, and didn't have the space he's used to in Central League, he has the quality to adapt though. Krishna's touch was silky, should've had a couple of goals. Rogerson was lacklustre. Marowa well, well out of his depth, was 5 yards behind everything, although did show flashes of quality.

Overall a solid outing, a good defensive performance with the 5th and 6th choice CB's and WSW should be embarrassed they left it til the 122nd minute. Ref should be embarrassed as well but that's a different story.
