Agree that a big croud isn't going to make a difference to the FFA but it will show WelNix that there's a reason for them to keep fighting. Also, I think it's an opportunity to convert some people to start to build crouds long term. A big croud, a Friday night party atmosphere, and hopefully a win might get a few to return and help to build interest. I also think that croud numbers are related to media interest and TV ratings. Big crouds look and sound better on TV and make the games more exciting to watch. It might not affect interest much but any increase in TV ratings will help us.
One funny thing is thata lot of people seem to think games are way more expensive than they are. I've been spamming workmates and I've got at least one to come and probably a few more, but they've all been surprised that adult tickets are only $25ish. They all seemed to think it was more like $40+. I dunno where that's come from but maybe a greater emphasis on ticket prices in our advertising might help.
What did ticket prices use to be? I do wonder if they have come down in price (I don't know as only done season tickets)
They've been in the $20-$25 range, plus there's often been a cheaper bay.
This is currently called the $10 bay, which is Aisle 35 : http://premier.ticketek.co.nz/events/PHOENIXC16/ve...
Also there is a 20% discount for season ticket holders when buying extra tickets
