Djite is interesting. He wouldn't always suit the way we play but a player like him as a Plan B would make our attack amazing. When we run into a team aiming just to stop us playing you have another option.
On that subect. Adelaide are pretty cynical. While the world faps on about Spanish style, if you take the ball into the central 25 yards you will get fouled.
Thought Williams did well (that was hard to type) to try and stop it happening early but then kind of switched off to it. We got fouls our way but little consequences for the players doing it beyond the first 15 minutes or so.
Also Goodwin and Jeggo are two of the most punchable players in this league.
Agree about Goodwin; I shifted over to Aisle 9 half time so my son could see the game without having to stand up and I saw him clock a few with late challenges. When he clipped Ridenton I could contain myself no longer and jumped out shouting "you little shark!". Sat back down, apologized to the good folk of Aisle 9.....
