3 month loan deal with the possibilituy of a longer term?? who knows? plus there maybe some agreement between the clubs for ongoing loans both ways.

Here is my reading of the situation.
Gameiro jumped to England on the back of his Aussie youth performances. He didn't impress. They couldn't find a second English club to take him on loan, so he started looking here because he's heading home and knows it and might as well get some A League visibility now if he can.
We've grabbed him (after at least one other A League club passed) because he might just turn out to not be shit. And he doesn't cost much. We could get lucky.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bit of agreement that he would start if he came. He needs to be seen and wouldn't want to come all the way down here to ride the pine.
