Love how often someone claims Belgium as their dark horse.
Happening so often on twitter.

Often it's the EPL players who everyone identifies, but they also have fantastic depth in the next level down.

Dries Mertens is a beast winger for Napoli. Competing with Hazard, De Bruyne, Mirrallas, Chadli etc.

Throw in Courtois who IMO is better than Mignolet. Alderweireld, Vertonghen, vermaelen, Kompany & van Buyten all quality defenders and experienced.

Gonna put it out there, they are my dark horse ?

They are 5th favourite for the WC with the bookies - I think the cat is well and truly out of the bag here in Europe

Some fairly outstanding analysis from Grap on the CONCACAF qualifying situation - you almost tipped a ridiculous set of results to see us qualify.

Didn't see the Brisbane game but agreed with Grap on Hicks after the weekend too.  I think we were playing a 4-3-3 really.  Hicks was one of the 3 tucking in but had the freedom to break forward and support from the left.
