There would other lower budget leagues, that would scout off obscure places like Iraq. Those leagues being in the Euro shop window. Sth Africa's PSL I'm guessing one example.
That's basically the essence of a Moneyball type recruiting plan. The A League ain't that unique.
Plus when Eze was signed the reaction on here was very mixed. I mean when Eze was signed the reaction on here was very mixed. He clearly overachieved on people's expectations. It's classic 20/20 hindsight to say Nix should have pushed him for a longer deal.
