Thank you Feverbot for your prompt table updates after each match.  See you in October.  Will you be able to update your table with goals for and against for next season?

I'm amazed we scored 41 goals.  That seemed an unlikely total after our first few games.

What a bizarre season Perth has had!

Here's the tables with goals for and against:

Goals Against

Sydney, Melbourne V, WSW, Brisbane, Melbourne C, Phoenix/Adelaide, CCM, Jets

Goals For

Sydney, Perth, Melbourne V/Melbourne C., Brisbane Roar, Phoenix, WSW, CCM, Jets, Adelaide

We were 6th equal with the level of goals conceded and 6th on goals scored. 7th does seem like a fair reflection of our season. We were obviously well clear of the bottom three, but couldn't match 5th and 6th in pressure games and with the steel nerves.

I wish I'd seen more Sydney games. They didn't seem that far ahead of us and didn't have any players like Fornaroli or Berisha that the commentators fapped over endlessly, but they seemed to play as a team, defend as a unit and strongly, How did they score all their goals? Everyone got some?

EDIT: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016%E2%80%9317_Sydn...

Just 4 main scorers- two good strikers and two scorers from the midfield.
