Imagine if we actually finish second!

That extra away game to Perth may be key with this terrible lopsided draw unfortunately, as that game is basically an instant loss

With Perths acl commitments I think we can do it.

Exactly, no point talking ourselves out of it now. The away game against Perth that Valeo is worried about will be their 3rd in 8 days. They're also playing 3 this coming week or so too. This type of schedule is very familiar to the likes of Taylor, Ball & Hooper too.

Schedule, most likely yes. Distance, most likely no.

Yeah, sorry, I confused things here I think by mixing up responses to two different points. They both amount to there being no need for us to make a fuss though.

1. In the week we're now playing 3 games, we have Victory at home, followed by Sydney and Jets away. Hardly a terrifying travel schedule for most pro footballers.

2. In the week we play away to Perth, we'll have had 1 game 7 days earlier (preceded by a bye week). On the other hand, Perth will be onto their 3rd game in 8 days.

I know we like to make a fuss about how everything's against us. On this one, though, I think we're best to zip it and get on with it. It's really not that rough.

Urrgh need that Unendorse button.

You are forgetting likely 4-5 players (Marinovic, Payne, Cacace, Rufer & McCowatt) having an extra game away with the AWs, plus about 40 hours stuck in a Jumbo - hopefully at the pointy end of the plane, NZF.

There will be some interesting discussions had between, Talay & Hay.
