No doubting that Marco has talent but the way this cookie is crumbling I don't think there is any shame in admitting that his move to the bundesliga has lost momentum at crucial moments (not his fault) to the point where his present options do not fulfil the step up he was capable of when he left MV. It is not a crime to admit there might be better places for him than the 2. Bundesliga right now - the kid was scouted by Liverpool, I doubt he envisioned lower division football off the bench in Northern Bavaria

I've had a chat with the kleeblatt fans on their forum - they are interested in Marco but hardly excited - his achievements in the a league have faded into the past and he is seen as 'another young and developing attacking option' not a pivot to build a striking partnership around - especially if he disappears at the end of the season. "we hope the nice young man can help our team sometime" would pretty much sum it up.

Watching his goals at his final year at MV, Archie T must have provided the assist on at least 50% of them.....not going to find that kind of synergy coming off the bench for the last 10 minutes of each game for a run around.

I really thought Marco was going to be Ryan Thomas, but Ryan Thomas turned out to be Ryan Thomas - the way he is going there will be a statue of Ryan Thomas in the Zwolle town square by Christmas

Should be one in the middle of Te Puke IMO.

Should be one in the middle of Te Awamutu IMO.
