Reality imo is that 22 is in reality too old, other than in some exceptional circumstances.
They need to be at these big clubs as 12 and 13 year olds
Erm, heard of a guy called Mile Jedinak? Reasonably good player in the A-League though not amazing - now currently captaining an EPL club and consistently one of their best players and joined them at 28.
Not a winger, nor entirely reliant on speed or agility to make it as a player.
I'm pretty sure you don't lose your speed and agility by fucking 22. Tommy Oar seems to be going alright.
