Is a 3rd qualifying post this round, before Group stage proper starts in early April, when Colo Colo join in. Group stage draw will be 22nd March

Big deal for Magallanes if they can make Group stage proper, they won the Copa Chile from the 2nd tier last year. Though they did get promoted. This year is their first season in the Chilean top tier since 1986.
