I don't disagree for a second, that's why I labelled it a thought experiment - it's more that if someone's an ABC (Anyone But Chiefy) then it's interesting to see how serious they are about the "A".
For the record I'm very much "give Chiefy until the end of the season", but still, hypotheticals can be revealing.
