have listened to him quite a bit, just look at the company he keeps on his SENZ breakfast show, Izz Dagg and the biggest hype merchant of them all Scotty Stevenson - none of them are what I would call quality journos. Simply presenters/hosts with opinions who have a license to say what they want when they want.
Add to that list Dan McHardy.
