So basically from Piney's tweets all we can gather is that at the moment the nix are in contract negotiations with just two of the playing group from this season - Krishna and Williams (With the possibility of Mandi, however the club have conceded he is unlikely to be back).

Assuming (a big assumption I know) that we resign all 4 of Roy, Willo, Dura and Doyle and we can sign Marinovic, we've got the core of a good team. Still have Taylor, still have Singh, still have Rufer, still have Libby and Louis. It's bones only the bones of a squad, but they're healthy ones.

Completely agreed. Roy is the big one for me.

I'm not sold on us keeping Taylor - I feel like he was actually underwhelming this season; maybe an unpopular opinion..

He also has a reputation for having second season syndrome (at Newcastle even, he often had one "on" season and one very "off" one)

re: Brockie; I don't think he should come back. I would rather that spot be taken up by a promising young player - even someone like Elliot Collier..

Ok but do we have enough promising young players to fill this squad? Man can score goals, is willing to come of the bench and would be a positive dressing room influence. We could do far, far worse. Depends on price.
