So you would expect League One players to be pretty solid performers at A league level. Would like to see the club aiming a bit higher than this for a striker tho, especially if they have the money that they were going to use on Roy still available. 

Le Fondre also had a solid season in the Premier League. Ball would be comparable to a Greenacre signing, a guy you'd expect honest and professional performances from, but not someone likely to knock in 15 goals a season. So if he is the guy, you'd very much hope that there'd be another import signed to play alongside him (i.e. another Ifill to his Greenacre).
