I'm concerned that we are looking at him as our first striker option, and I'm concerned he'd want the wages of one as well. Ufuk has talked about the "last piece of the puzzle" and we've had no further rumours or movement on an import striker. I'm far more open to it if he's available for cheap and as depth but currently don't feel that that's the most likely option.

I think he'd perform similarly to Smeltz and Burns on their respective returns - ie, not worth the time taken away from developing McCowatt and Waine. I'm sure he'll give 100%, I'm just worried about what 100% looks like when he's been unable to convince a coach he deserves to play in 18 months.
