Nipples probably fancies himself a crusading journo (as many ex-student journos do), and he kind of likes being the spearhead of a lynch mob, having taken the job over from Dave Burgess. And there is a lynch mob, by which I mean "lots of people who have been burned in business deals by Terry and would love to see him nailed to the wall". And all that drama and excitement is good for paper sells and page clicks. Tl;dr: lynch mobs = good business for papers.
