As far as I see the issue, Dewhurst is a journo and is pissed off and frustrated that Terry's inner workings are something of a "black box", as he has every right to be.
But absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. And in the absence of evidence, I will believe whatever doesn't make me depressed. There seems no point to believing in the imminent death of the Nix, except if you're some kind of masochist, or if you think that expecting the worst makes it not happen, or because you look forward to being "the guy who predicted it all" if it does happen.
