Does it ultimately really matter how foolish or dodgy he looks?
My insanely sunny personality say "no, Terry has been despised by many in Wellington for years and it hasn't hurt him much". My paranoid personality says: "what if the public turns against the Nix because they associate us with Terry's dodginess? Then we'll never turn a profit and therefore never attract a better owner/funder".
Doesn't change the fact that - in the absence of the Mystery Man riding to the rescue - we're stuck with him for the time being, so let's remind ourselves of his good qualities.
But now Terry is known nationally, and across the Tasman.
Anything he does now that is stupid/dodgy, impacts the club's image.
