Im still buying my season pass because like you im a Phoenix tragic,i think those however who are not so committed may well have a think about purchasing given all the bad publicity.

Season ticket sales are important for cashflow but increasing the number of season tickets sold doesn't necessarily translate to an increase in overall attendance (and revenue).
Boosting the overall attendance probably has more to do with factors like winning, the weather and good marketing/promotions.
Despite all the angst about Terry's finances I reckon the future of the Nix depends as much on whether the players can deliver a winning start to the season and whether we get a good run with the weather as anything.
