I'm not saying it's not true, I'm saying that as it's not on the public record and it's limited to what someone heard from someone else it is Hearsay and rumour.  Hearsay can be true but until it's established truth Hearsay and rumour is exactly what it is.
 
Honestly, I could say I'd have bought the club if it wasn't for Terry, secure in the knowledge I'd never have to deliver on it.
 
If someone is serious about wanting to invest in this club then they need to man up, contact the FFA and talk to them.  Until then it's as credible as my offer of ownership (which wouldn't get past the Due Diligence from Mrs. News).
