This sh*t unfortunately must have some affect on some people who may be considering membership.Frankly it really has become a pain in the arse and as much as i try i just cant go with all the rose covered glasses of some.
Despite what some of you may think its because of the current ownership that some have not got involved and will not get involved, and yes it is more than just a rumour or hearsay.

ballane, if you are talking about people not wanting to become season ticket holders because of the perceived financial difficulties then that's just nuts - a classic self fulfilling prophesy. By far the most positive thing anyone worried about the future of the Nix can do is buy a season ticket.
For one thing it gives the Nix much needed cashflow (and time). Also, based on everything that was said last season if the Nix can lift the average attendance from around the 8,000 up to the 10,000 mark then they are getting close to break-even (and not needing Terry's money at all). That's a tough target, but far from impossible.
Despite all the bad news if the hardcore Nix fans start to lose faith are we not, in fact, being our own worst enemies? We can actually save this club ourselves and we need to stop being such a bunch of whining pussies and just get on with it.
Personally, I've already bought another family season ticket and I'm also telling my neighbour he's not getting anymore lifts to the games unless he buys a season ticket too.
